Mare Nostrum is de koos naam van de Middellandse Zee, die Lorenzo Villoresi als thema kiest voor de gelijknamige parfumlijn die hij vorig jaar lanceerde. Een thema waar zijn hart ligt omdat de Middellandse Zee rijk is aan culturele, historische, mythologische en natuur inspiratie.
Het eerste parfum uit de Mare Nostrum lijn heet Aura Maris, een friszoutig, sprankelend en zomers parfum wat ons volgens het meegeleverde persbericht moet doen denken aan een verfrissend zeebriesje. Een perfecte geur voor de zomer. Zo verwoordt Lorenzo Aura Maris zelf:
“The sea breeze gently brushing the ocean waves, bearing happy tidings of the summer sun, with the aromas from the Mediterranean shrubs. The tingling fragrance of salty foam, the sunlit reflections of citrus fruits the lightest touch of meadow flowers and the golden rays of the sun on a glimmering sea.”
De top bestaat uit groene citrusvruchten met bergamot, mandarijn en zachte bloemige en fruitige accenten. De middennoot bevat frisse bloemen met aromatische houtnoten, narcis, patchouli en jasmijn. De basis bevat citroen met amber, musk en houtnoten.
